Providence Health & Services RN Nursing Supervisor for ElderPlace in Newberg, Oregon
Providence is calling a Nursing Supervisor (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Elderplace in Hillsboro, OR.
In this position, you will:
Provide overall leadership and direction to the clinic and community care nursing programs and staff in the Health and Social Center(s).
Preform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or advanced Nursing Degree within 3 years of hire starting in January 2018. Nurses with 20 years of nursing experience will not be required to obtain a BSN
Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Health Care Provider certification within 6 months of hire
5 years of clinic and /or community nursing work experience that includes 1 year of geriatric nursing
Nursing leadership experience
In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position. Fingerprinting may be required also
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Nursing experience in a PACE model
Experience managing a budget
