Providence Health & Services RN Clinic - Family Medicine Newberg in Newberg, Oregon

Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Clinic - Family Medicine Newberg (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Medical Group Newberg in Newberg, OR.

This position would be working 4 10 hour shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. No weekends.

In this position, you will:

  • Be responsible for facilitating the patient care flow in the clinic while providing direct patient care for an assigned provider.

  • Facilitate the workflow in the area by conducting nursing assessments and documentation.

  • Contribute expertise in the areas of patient scheduling, telephone advice and pharmacy needs.

  • Assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Support physicians in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients’ individual physical or age-related needs.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Knowledge, skills and abilities are acquired through obtaining a College degree in nursing

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification

  • 1 years of related experience in an ambulatory setting

  • Skills assessing vital signs, providing direct patient care, managing time effectively, and practicing safety techniques

  • Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific care for geriatric, adult, young adults, and pediatric patients applicable to clinic setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 years of related experience in an ambulatory setting in a medical office

  • Supervisory experience
