Providence Mammography Technologist in Newberg, Oregon
Providence is calling a Mammography Technologist to Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, Oregon. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE position), benefited, day shift position. Schedule will be three 8 hour days per week; exact schedule to be determined.
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist who will perform mammography examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated mammography equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

Utilize knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Education to meet certification, license -OR- registration requirement
Current certification by the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Current ARRT certification in Mammography required upon hire, or within six (6) months of employment
Current Oregon Licensure as an Registered Technologist, Radiography (RTR)
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Computer skills and knowledge of keyboard functionality
