Providence Health & Services Facility Engineer in Newberg, Oregon
Providence is calling a Facility Engineer to Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, Oregon. This is a full-time, benefited position.
In this position, you will:
- Maintain and repair hospital equipment, electrical, controls systems, heating and air conditioning systems, and other building repairs in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and hospital policy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Valid drivers license with a good driving record
Must have or be able to obtain within six months of hire State of Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) Professional Certification
Thorough knowledge of maintenance facilities and equipment
Ability to troubleshoot problems both electrical and mechanical
Well versed about equipment and its operation related to the engineering field: boilers, emergency generators, air balance, air handlers, and related equipment
Demonstrate knowledge of electricity, plumbing and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
Experience using personal computer with Microsoft applications
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
