Providence Health & Services Director of Foundation - Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, Oregon


Providence is calling a Director of Foundation to Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, Oregon. This is a full-time, benefited position that is part of the leadership team for the Providence Oregon Foundations.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide professional fund raising expertise and management for Providence Newberg Health Foundation with major emphasis on generating significant financial support to help meet the needs of the Service Area’s stated goals and objectives for quality patient care.

  • Perform duties in a manner which promotes team concept in the hospital and reflects the hospital’s mission and philosophy.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 5 years experience in fund development

  • Knowledge of fundraising practices and procedures in the not-for-profit organization

  • Special skills and experience in personal major gift cultivation and solicitation

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare

  • 5 years experience in fund development in a health-care setting

  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE)
