Providence Health & Services Clinical Home Care Supervisor in Newberg, Oregon
Providence is calling a Clinical Home Care Supervisor (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Home Health Yamhill in Newberg, OR.
In this position, you will:
Supervise employees to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care to patients in their home setting.
Determine staffing needs and be responsible for meeting department productivity standards.
Participate in development of department policies and procedures and quality management plan and then implement and administer for compliance.
Uphold the standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license, Physical Therapy (PT) license, Occupational Therapy (OT) license or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provideror Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire
Knowledge of nursing and rehab standards and practices
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Joint Commission on accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) requirements
Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices
In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-Oregon Human Resources policy #302 “Background Checks”, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties
Preferred qualifications for this position include :
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Home Health Supervisory experience
2 years of Home Care experience
